I was feeling nostalgic this evening, pondering the history of Mnara and the tale that still entwines itself around and through my brain. I was trying to figure out how to tweak and change and alter it just enough to remove the basis from The Lion King, thus allowing the plot to be written as an actual independent story. There were various sub-plots coming along, see. *nod* The Msomeshaji/Nipo bit was raring to go in the back of my brain.

I don't know that I could ever become involved in such an RPG again. I couldn't start Mnara back up... 'twas not just my brainstorm, but Jennko's as well. The two of us, we were a /team/, man. And the players... they made it come alive. I digress. 'Tis in the past now. *snicker*

So, I entered "mnara lion" into a search engine. I stumbled upon WikiFur's listing of multi-player worlds based on The Lion King. There was an entry about Mnara. They were missing a handful of characters (Njozi and Barafu, most notably, as well as Nipo and Msomeshaji, who came along in Mnara's last days). So, I took the liberty of editing and adding them.

I know I have my old notebook somewhere. If I find it, I should add the rest of the characters. For posterity's sake.

I know that there are a couple of ex-Mnarans still traversing DA. None of you happen to have the old write-up of the plot and history, d'ye? My computer has been dead for a year and a half. As in, the hard drive appears to be fried (we tried reloading Windows, it told us it couldn't find the hard drive... so we gave up and I just use my parents').

If you've got it, please let me know. I want to add it. I want to relive the magic. I want to live vicariously through WikiFur.
